Commenting on the award, Managing Director of Williams Advanced Engineering Craig Wilson said; “The British Engineering Excellence Awards reward the best of the best in UK engineering so we’re honoured to have been named Consultancy of the Year. As a company, we endeavour to work collaboratively with our customers and go above and beyond to get the best results for them. This award is great validation of our growing reputation as a leading engineering problem solver, and the value that Formula One inspired technologies and practices can have beyond the race track.”

Luke Webster, Publishing Director, MA Business, organisers of the British Engineering Excellence Awards, added; “Once again, the British Engineering Excellence Awards attracted a host of impressive entries from brilliant British innovators. The Consultancy of the Year category is always hotly contested however, the Judges felt that Williams Advanced Engineering demonstrated an impressive performance to take on the challenge of designing and making batteries for Formula E, which worked reliably. It was hard to ignore the engineering excellence involved. Many congratulations to the whole team.”
