Kazuki's German Blog: Sunday

Surely my luck will change soon. I made a good start this afternoon, but my race was ruined on lap one when I was hit by Jarno Trulli. The collision spun me round and dropped me to the back of the field, from where it was impossible to score points.
What made the race even more frustrating was that my FW31 proved itself to be very competitive. I set the fifth fastest race lap, ahead of both Brawn GP cars, and I’m sure I could have finished in the points had I not been hit by Trulli. As it was, I came home in 12th place.
There’s no point looking back, however. From a racing perspective, I’m already focused on Hungary, where Williams F1 have a very good record. The hotter temperatures should suit the car, so let’s hope that I can score my first points of the season there.
Prior to that, I’m heading to Moscow next weekend to do some demonstration runs at the Moscow City Racing event. Nico went there in ’08 and said it was good fun and I’m looking forward to visiting the city for the first time myself. Now, where’s my visa?
