RTL have asked Nico Rosberg to do some pretty strange things this year, but few come stranger or more sedate than bowls. On the beach adjacent to the Valencia Street Circuit, he played a needle match against compatriot Nick Heidfeld last night. “Of course I won,” he said. A good omen for the weekend ahead?

Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis was in the AT&T Williams motorhome this afternoon as a guest of RBS. He was given a garage tour and met drivers Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima. Will he come back tomorrow? Theo: are you in, or are you out?

Former AT&T Williams star Mark Webber has been spotted in our motorhome on various occasions this weekend. Was he searching for Frank Williams to discuss a drive in 2010? Nope, he was keeping up to date with the final Ashes Test Match at the Oval. (We bet he wished he hadn’t...!)

Our PR guru Silvia Hoffer headed to Valencia’s Plaza de Toros this evening to watch Julio Iglesias in concert. She had two tickets, but no-one else in the team wanted to go with her (the girls preferred Enrique...). “I was the youngest by quite a long way,” says Silvia. “But it was good fun and I even found myself singing along.”
