AT&T Williams on ITV-F1
Posted on Saturday 07 Jul 2007
For 2007, ATT Williams is the featured team on ITV F1's specially produced “Insights” slots. These mini-features are short items of programming designed to give viewers detailed background on specialist subjects (remember Red Bull’s version last season?) These elements of programming use CGI (computer generated imagery) content, integrated with filmed material.
The first of the team’s “Insights” was aired as part of ITV’s Canadian Grand Prix coverage and was hugely popular. Don’t worry though if you missed it because there are plenty more to come!
Over the British Grand Prix weekend, two Insight vignettes will be broadcast featuring material from a shoot filmed earlier this year at Silverstone with the team’s test crew. The first will trace Mark Blundell’s experience on a genuine F1 simulator, filmed earlier this year at the team’s HQ, and then his first outing in an F1 car in 12 years will be shown. Martin Brundle's traditional track guide will then be aired which will take place from the cockpit of an FW29 with Martin at the wheel.
We hope you enjoy watching them as much as we did making them!
ITV’s Formula One coverage will be broadcasted at the following times on ITV1:
Live Qualifying: Saturday 7 July 1215 -1425
Live Race: Sunday 8 July 1200 -1515
Highlights: Sunday 8 July 2345 - 0045
