This evening marked the first motorhome dinner of the year. A group from Thomson Reuters were our guests and they were joined by both drivers for a drink beforehand. The main course? We’re in Spain so, yep, you guessed it: paella.

Frank Williams visited the Montmelo equivalent of Bicester Village this afternoon. He put in an appearance at the McGregor shop, where he spoke to members of staff, the media and the public, and he even modelled the company’s latest line in sweaters. He’s a model boss, is Frank...

It was great to welcome Toto Wolff, one of our shareholders, to the Barcelona paddock today. It was Toto’s second visit to a race this season, the first being the season-opener in Bahrain, and we hope to see him at many more this year.

Former Leyton House, Jordan, Midland, Spyker and Force India commercial director Ian Phillips was in the Barcelona paddock today. It was his first appearance at a race since he split with Vijay Mallya over the winter and he is in no hurry to return to the sport. “I’ve just enjoyed my first holiday for 40 years,” he says. “I don’t miss the travel at all, but I need to work so we’ll see what opportunities arise.”
