Saturday's Blog from Silverstone

After lots of data analysis last night, we took the decision to keep all the new parts on the FW32s, so both cars had new exhausts, new rear wings and new floors for final practice and qualifying.
Rubens did a great job to end up eighth on the grid. He was absolutely committed: he was flat through Turn 11, where there’s a big bump at the apex, and he was just 1.5 tenths off sixth place, so we were pleased with how his session panned out.
Nico had a more difficult session. His best lap in Q2 was ruined by Vitantonio Liuzzi, who received a five-place penalty for blocking him at Becketts, and he also had a small problem with his F-duct, which wasn’t working as it should. It was a different problem to the one he had in Valencia and we’ll sort it tonight so that he can have a clean run tomorrow from 13th place.
With regard to the pace of the car, we’re pretty happy with today. You always want more in F1, but we now have a good basis from which to work.
