Mansell leads charity tour of Britain

Ex-Williams World Champion, Nigel Mansell started a marathon cycling tour of Britain on Thursday July 22, just as the Tour de France reaches its epic conclusion.
Mansell is cycling 1,200 miles in 13 days in aid of UK Youth, which he Chairs, during its centenary year. He wil lbe joined in his peloton by sons Greg and Leo and a host of cycling celebrities including Magnus Backstedt, a former winner of the notorious Paris-Roubaix race in 2004.
Mansell's first stop after his departure from Kensington Palace under the auspice of HRH Prince Michael of Kent was McLaren in Woking, another of his former teams, before dropping in at the Williams HQ near Oxford just ahead of his overnight halt in Cirencester.
After being presented with a yellow jersey by Williams Director of Engineering, Patrick Head, Mansell was reunited with some of his instantly-recognisable Williams race cars in the factory.
