It would appear that the team has a rebel in its midst. Has Nico refused to wash his hair? Nope. Has Chief Operations Engineer Rod Nelson agreed not to take a plastic duck in his wash bag to every race? Nope. Mr Naughty, laydeez and gentlemen, is Alex Wurz. He got into trouble last week when he forgot that it’s illegal to kite surf off the coast of Barcelona during the summer. The two guys waving at you from the shore weren’t admirers, Alex, they were coppers. Doh!

ATT Williams star Nico Rosberg is no longer the youngest driver in Formula One. Sebastian Vettel, who at 20 years and one month is two years younger than Nico, has been confirmed as Scott Speed’s replacement at Toro Rosso. No scrapping boys…

Always up for a party, if any of the ATT Williams gang go AWOL on Saturday night, there’s a good chance they’ll be at a nightclub called “The Fridge”, situated on the Pest side of the Danube. It used to be owned by Spyker team principal Colin Kolles, but he closed it down 17 years ago to pursue a life in motor racing. The club re-opened last month using its original name.
