Getting into the Top Ten
From the two Turkish Grand Prix held so far, Mark Webber’s tenth place achieved in the 2006 campaign marks the team’s best finish in the race to date.

Williams’ best qualifying position for the Turkish Grand Prix is the sixth-place start claimed by Nick Heidfeld in 2005.

Turkey has represented a race of mixed fortunes for the Williams team. In 2005, Nick Heidfeld and Mark Webber qualified in a promising sixth and seventh only for both to suffer tyre failure and subsequent retirement.
2006
With good pace, Mark Webber and Nico Rosberg looked well-placed for points in last year’s GP. Deployment of the safety car, however, affected Webber’s strategy, while a leak forced Rosberg to retire.
