The race is on. The pack-up began before the end of today’s grand prix because the freight needs to be in Monaco by Monday night, ahead of next weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix. As iWitness left the paddock at 9pm, AT&T Williams were neck and neck with Force India in the race to be the first team out of the Barcelona paddock.Lewis Hamilton’s designer beard is getting more established. For fans reading this in the UK, do you think he looks like the character Taaj from the show “Come Fly With Me”? Separated at birth?
Sebastian Vettel stormed to another victory this afternoon and iWitness couldn’t help noticing something about Red Bull’s pitstops. The team uses laser beams to help the mechanics line up the wheels; is this something AT&T Williams should look into? Over to you, team manager Dickie Stanford…
Congratulations to the BBC’s Formula One team. They picked up a Bafta at the National Television Awards this evening for their coverage of the 2010 season finale in Abu Dhabi. Fantastic news for everyone involved, although none of the team were present to pick it up because they were stuck in Barcelona!
