Rosberg versus Rosberg. On ice. It's the battle that the F1 media wants to see and it might just happen this winter. "I would love to take on my father in an ice race," says ATT Williams star Nico. "He's very good on ice because he's done a lot of driving on it,but I think I could beat him because he's too old." Ouch!

Ice 11?

Kimi Raikkonen won a Ski-Doo race in Lapland prior to the start of the season, but he spent time on ice of a different kind during the summer break. 'Ice 11' is the new three million-euro boat that he keeps in Helsinki. "I had one week on it with my friends and one week with my wife," the Iceman told reporters in Istanbul.

Snipers

The Turkish GP organisers are taking no chances during Sunday's race. They have stationed more than 100 snipers around the track, just in case of any trouble. Message to all drivers: don't risk any silly overtaking manoeuvres...
