Monza Test Day Two
Posted on Thursday 30 Aug 2007
Alex Wurz resumed testing duties on the second day of the Italian test. The Austrian spent the day evaluating a revised aero package the team will be running on the FW29s at next weekend's race at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. All eleven F1 teams were represented at a cloudy, but relatively dry circuit.
Alex completed 71 laps, a total of 411kms over the session and recorded the 8th quickest time of the day with a 1:24.356.
Dickie Stanford, Test Team Manager, Williams F1:
"Alex joined us today and we completed the majority of our planned programme with him, despite having a couple of showers today and a small technical problem in the afternoon. Nico joins us for tomorrow’s running, although with 80-85% humidity today, we are anticipating some wet weather tomorrow which may not allow us to complete our full programme."
