Paul Ricard Test Day One
Posted on Tuesday 15 May 2007
Hot off the heals of the Spanish Grand Prix, the team are back to work with a four day test session at the Paul Ricard circuit in France. In order to replicate the forthcoming street race at Monaco, the teams are using a modified version of the track which replicate Monte Carlo's corners. Following his sixth place finish on Sunday at Barcelona, Nico Rosberg carried out testing duties for the team today and completed the fifth fastest lap of the day with a time of 1:07.189 on his 47th tour. All eleven teams are testing in France this week. Dickie Stanford, Test Team Manager, AT&T Williams: “At a very windy Paul Ricard circuit, we’ve been running through a substantial test programme today. Nico completed a considerable 128 laps on the modified, Monaco-based track and experienced no problems with the car. We will carry on with our planned schedule tomorrow with Alex driving.Latest News
