At ATT Williams we like our drivers to be a little different…Two years of driving for ATT Williams has turned Nico Rosberg into an Anglophile. Fish & chips, James Bond – he loves them both. And last night he was late for an Oris function because he was watching the rugby World Cup final between England and South Africa. Attaboy!
With Frank Williams not in Brazil this weekend, Patrick Head has inherited his chauffeur-driven Mercedes road car. Sounds good, until you see the pimped-up CLK. “It’s enormous,” says Patrick, “and it has blacked-out windows. The worst thing about it, though, is that it’s not bullet proof!”
There is an end-of-term atmosphere at Interlagos. After what’s been a long and arduous season, paddock people are ready to party, starting this evening. “I’d imagine everyone’s taking a bit of holiday now,” says Nico Rosberg. “I certainly am!”
