Jerez Test: Day One

The team started the final test of 2007 today with a four day session in Jerez, Spain. Kazuki Nakajima opened the session for the team and was joined by 20 year old Nico Huelkenberg.
Day one in Jerez marked the young German's Formula One debut having enjoyed a successful season in the European F3 series this year.
Times:
N Huelkenberg: 1:21.551 (27 / 28 laps) - 15th.
K Nakajima: 1:21.566 (31 / 33 laps) - 17th.
Dickie Stanford, Test Team Manager, Williams F1:
"We opened our four day test at Jerez today with Kazuki Nakajima and Nico Huelkenberg. Kazuki was working through the final part of our 2007 test programme and Nico joined us for his first run in a Formula One car. Nico provided solid feedback for his debut outing and will continue in the car tomorrow alongside Nico Rosberg. After tomorrow, Kazuki and Nico Rosberg will be on testing duties for the remaining two days."
