Kazuki's Blog - Thursday in Malaysia

Finally I understand the lure of air travel. Well, being a pilot anyway. Today’s launch of the AT&T Williams-liveried Air Asia Airbus A320 gave me a chance to sit in the cockpit of a commercial plane for the first time and I was blown away by the technology.
The reclined seat position and the dials reminded me of the cockpit of my FW30. If you take a look at the pictures of me in the plane you’ll that I’m pretty excited about being there!
I’ve had a good week since Melbourne. I flew to Kuala Lumpur on Monday, since when I’ve done a lot of training outside. The temperatures here haven’t been as high as last weekend, but the humidity still saps your energy. It won’t be fun breathing in hot air for an hour and a half in the race, but I feel prepared. It won’t affect my performance.
