Malaysian GP Sunday iWitness

Given that today is arguably the most important day in the Christian calendar, we asked AT&T Williams driver Nico Rosberg when he last went to church. “Until recently,” he said, “I’d never been to church. It’s never been a part of my life. But I went to church with a good friend of mine, who’s a very devout Christian, and it was an interesting experience... everyone was holding their hands in the air and singing Hallelujah.”“In this heat, it’s really important to keep hydrated,” says Nico Rosberg’s physio, Oli Fengler. We took him literally: AT&T Williams took 2,400 bottles of Highland Spring to Sepang. When those were gone, we bought 1,000 more; when those were gone, we bought 1,000 more. In total, team personnel drank 4,500 bottles of water over the GP weekend – an average of 75 bottles per person!
We’ve enjoyed our time in the Far East, but now it’s time to go home. And there was no stopping the AT&T Williams marketing team. Today’s race ended at 4.30pm local time, and by 6.30pm they were in the air en route to Singapore. It’s snowing at home, guys; what’s the hurry?
