2007 sees the AT&T Williams team celebrate 30 years of Formula One racing. From small beginnings, the team has steadily crept up the statistics books and today stands tall as one of the most successful teams in the history of the sport, ever. To mark the occasion, we delved into our historical archives to bring you some of our most impressive numbers. 482: Grands Prix contested 9: Constructors’ Championships 7: Drivers’ Championships 2.9: Average Championship position 2,512.5: Total points scored 113: Victories 293: Podium finishes (113 wins, 108 second and 72 third place finishes) 125: Pole positions 129: Fastest Laps 47,745: Laps raced 224,637: Kilometres raced 216: Races led 7,470: Laps led 34,651: Kilometres led 33: One - Two victories 68: Races won from pole position 12: The highest number of wins claimed in one season (1996) 7: The highest number of successive wins (1993) 45: Number of victories led from start to finish 15: Number of pole positions secured in one season (out of a possible 16), and achieved two years in succession (1992 and 1993), a record only shared with McLaren 24: The number of consecutive poles (1992 - 1993), a record 61: Number of locked out front rows, a record 2: Queen’s Award for Export 5: Engine partnerships 1 and 100: The first and 100th victories were taken at the team’s home Grand Prix at Silverstone 1: Knighthood.
