iWitness in Canada: Friday

Nico Rosberg misses nothing. When he spotted his manager, Jukka Mildh, eating a dessert at lunchtime today, he didn’t mince his words. “We said no desserts, Jukka! What are you doing eating one – that’s not what we agreed!” Poor Jukka; he was only eating a bowl of blueberries and strawberries…
Two worlds collided at the Chelsea Flower Show yesterday. Ginny Williams’ (wife of Frank) passion for gardening met with Patrick Head’s interest in four-wheel-drive, and the result was the FW 4WD Countax Williams F1 mower. The 16bhp, £5,245 ride-on was decked out in Williams F1 blue and white, and it offered ‘scuff-free’ performance. Very important, we’re sure you agree.
“I tell you,” says former Williams F1 driver, Mark Webber, “I’ve never seen anything like it. Those guys are unsung heroes. So brave, such levels of concentration.” Mark’s referring to the riders in the Isle of Man TT, having witnessed their efforts first hand last weekend. Hardly surprising, then, that Mark rates Mick Doohan as one of his heroes.
iWitness is eagerly looking out for screen goddess Halle Berry. She has owned a CAN$5 million apartment overlooking the Ile Notre Dame since 2005, when she started dating Quebecois Gabriel Aubry, and the word on the Montreal street is that she’s coming to the GP this weekend. Cuppa at AT&T Williams, Halle?
