iWitness in France: Sunday

The small pit garages at Magny-Cours presented Nico Rosberg with an unusual problem: where should he do his pre-race exercises? He elected to do them in his room, inside the AT&T Williams motorhome, which resulted in team members having to listen to lots of unusual banging noises. Have you any idea what Nico was doing? Answers on a postcard please....

Soon after the chequered flag had fallen on the French Grand Prix, our born again teenager was back on his motorbike. Patrick Head was aiming to get two hours north of Nevers aboard his BMW R1100S this evening, before completing his two-wheeled journey to Grove on Monday. Have a safe trip!

We said we’d have half an eye on events at Donington this weekend… and we wish we hadn’t. British MotoGP star James Toseland, who visited the Williams F1 factory last Tuesday, had a torrid time. He came off his Yamaha M1 three times during qualifying on Saturday, before dropping it again at the first corner in the race. Better luck this weekend, James!
