Silverstone Test Day One
Posted on Tuesday 24 Jun 2008 and tagged with silverstone, testing.
After a disappointing French Grand Prix in which neither AT&T Williams driver collected any points, the team are back on track this week at the pre-British Grand Prix Silverstone test to resolve the issues experienced in France.
Day one of the test saw all ten Formula One teams represented at the Northamptonshire track, with Nico Rosberg on duty for AT&T Williams.
Nico recorded the sixth quickest time of the day with a 1:21.410 on lap 74 out of a total of 88.
Dickie Stanford, Test Team Manager:
“Nico joined the team for our first day of testing at Silverstone today. In readiness for the race here in just under two weeks, we worked through a number of set-up items and completed our scheduled programme without any problems. Nico will continue in the car tomorrow.”
