Jerez Test Day Two
Posted on Wednesday 23 Jul 2008 and tagged with testing.
In the second day of four at Jerez, although some of the drivers changed, the order at the close of the day did not, with Toro Rosso topping the times, followed by McLaren, Ferrari, Williams and Toyota. Nico Rosberg recorded the fourth quickest time of the day, a 1:19.861, ahead of Webber, Wurz, Trulli, Liuzzi, Piquet and Klien.
Dickie Stanford, the Test Team Manager, reported, “Nico Rosberg followed on from Nico Hulkenberg at Jerez today. We spent the best part of the morning on general set-up work before turning our attention to a test of the 2009 slick tyres, which we concentrated on for most of the rest of the day. We had no major problems and from tomorrow, Kazuki will join the test.”
