Kazuki's Hungarian Blog: Friday
Posted on Friday 01 Aug 2008 and tagged with kazuki, hungary, blog.
With it being almost impossible to overtake around the Hungaroring, qualifying is really important. With that in mind, we made a lot of changes to the car in the hope of maximising our one-lap pace tomorrow.
Track conditions were poor to begin with, like they always are on the opening day at the Hungaroring, which meant we had to wait until some rubber had been put down before beginning our set-up work. I’m pleased to say that we made some progress with the car, although there’s still more to come and I will use tomorrow’s final practice session to hone the car to the track.
Away from the track, there’s not much to report. An electrical storm last night was pretty spectacular and kept the local fire service busy because the roads flooded. I’ve also spotted a pretty cool place to have dinner near Hero’s Square. A crane lifts a table of about 20 about 100 metres into the sky, but I wonder how they serve you?
