Kazuki's Brazilian Blog: Friday
Posted on Friday 31 Oct 2008 and tagged with kazuki, brazil, blog.
Difficult track conditions today. Light drizzle fell for 10 minutes during the afternoon session, which slightly affected our programme and stopped the track conditions from improving in a linear fashion. But I’m still pleased with the progress we’ve made with the set-up and I think the car is showing better pace here than it has at recent races.
Although today was only Friday, there was a great atmosphere at the track. The Brazilians are really excited about the title showdown and Felipe Massa’s chances of winning the championship, but they showed a lot of enthusiasm for all the drivers. I got lots of waves from the grandstands on my out lap, but I guess there might be a lot of Japanese people at the track because there are lots of Japanese living in Sao Paulo.
What we need to do now is continue to improve the set-up of my FW30 during final practice on Saturday morning and then hope that we can secure a good place on the grid. I want to watch the title showdown as it happens on Sunday!
