iWITNESS - US Sunday
Posted on Monday 18 Jun 2007 and tagged with iwitness.
AT&T Williams star Nico Rosberg remonstrated with his FW29 after retiring from the US Grand Prix, which was more than Jarno Trulli could manage at the end of the race. The Toyota driver, who inherited Nico's sixth position, collapsed in the pitlane after getting out of his car. 'Heat exhaustion,' he told iWitness. Ron Dennis is still reeling from his biggest faux pas of the weekend. When asked about the relationship between Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton, the McLaren boss said: 'They're fine together. You should see them playing Playboy… I mean Playstation together.' Been away from home too long, Ron? If you hadn't noticed, Lewis Hamilton was being shadowed by a nerd on raceday. Music producer Pharrell Williams, who is also a member of the rock trio N.E.R.D, was a guest of McLaren and spent a lot of time with the British superstar. iWitness wonders what Pharrell made of Lewis's taste in music: The Roots, 2 Pac, Biggie, Nas, Sizzla, Beenie Man, Sanchez and Warrior King… Bernie Ecclestone was accosted by a beggar yesterday. 'I hear you're a billionaire,' the beggar reportedly told Mr E while rattling an empty polystyrene coffee cup. We're reliably informed that Brickyard boss Tony George, who is currently negotiating a new contract with Bernie, wasn't in the vicinity of the Conrad Hotel.
