AT&T Williams were the sole team on the track at Jerez today as Formula One opened the first of two pre-Christmas test sessions at the Spanish circuit.
Dani Clos took to the wheel of the FW30B interim car on day one of the four day test in which the team plan to carry out set-up work and development of Bridgestone's new slick tyre.
Dani completed 79 laps of the 4.428km track, despite rain interrupting the morning's running, and set a quickest time of 1:22.558.
Dickie Stanford, Test Team Manager, Williams F1:
“Today we ran Dani Clos in the FW30B interim car and concentrated on development work of the KERS and general chassis set-up work. Tonight we will convert the car for Kazuki who will take over driving duties tomorrow.”
