Patrick Head got caught in a moment of nostalgia this afternoon, when he was asked to comment on Ross Brawn’s contribution to Williams as a machinist in the late ’70s. “He owned a fishing shop at the time,” said Patrick. “Whenever it got busy in the shop, he had to go and help!”

Ralf Schumacher is making his first appearance at an F1 race since retiring at the end of 2007. He’s working for German TV broadcaster RTL, who are no doubt cashing-in on his victorious experiences here in 2002, when he led home a one-two finish for BMW Williams.
