Design Engineer - Suspension Steering and Brakes
We are looking for a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for components and assemblies for suspension, steering and braking systems. Responsibility will start from conceptual design, with supporting calculations, through to detail design and include generating all systems documentation. Through this process you will liaise closely with all design groups including stress and aerodynamics. Responsibility will continue through manufacture, build, testing, and faults analysis and correction.
We require a relevant engineering qualification supported by relevant industrial design experience in aerospace, motorsport or a related field. You will need to possess strong CAD skills, ideally with the experience of using NX.
This is a fast paced environment and to succeed in the above roles you will need to be adaptable, demonstrate initiative along with the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. Also, problem-solving, along with attention to detail. With a collaborative approach, good communications and organization skills, you will enjoy working as part of a team and relish a challenge.
