About Canada

Traditionally one of the most unpredictable races on the calendar, the Canadian Grand Prix is one of the sport’s most popular races. It’s the first low downforce track of the year and the high top speeds lengthen the braking zones and encourage overtaking. But the drivers have to be careful because the cars are skittish in low-downforce trim and the walls aren’t far away. It won’t come as a surprise to learn that the safety car was deployed six times last year.
