MILAN, Feb 19 (Reuters) - Colin Kolles was named team principal of Campos on Friday while a new majority shareholder has taken over to try to ensure the struggling new Formula One team is on the grid for the first race.
Spanish businessman Jose Ramon Carabante has taken over the team, a statement said, with former Force India chief Kolles running the racing side of the business.
"I could not resist this tremendous challenge and am very excited to join forces in this new team," Kolles said.
The team said there was still lots of work to do to be ready for the first race in Bahrain on March 14.
