BRIEF-Di Resta to get track time in Australia
Posted at 12:00am on 16 March 2010
LONDON, March 16 (Reuters) - Britain's Paul di Resta will drive for Force India in the first practice session at next week's Australian Grand Prix and in Malaysia the following Friday, the Formula One team said on Tuesday.
A team spokeswoman said the 23-year-old test driver, a cousin of Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti, would replace German race regular Adrian Sutil in the Melbourne session and Italian Vitantonio Liuzzi at Sepang.
Australia will mark the Scot's track debut at a grand prix weekend after attending the Bahrain season-opener. The Mercedes-powered team will also have a minor upgrade for the race, with improvements for the front wing.
