Consistency was key in 2015 with only minor rule changes in effect; the same engine as 2014; and Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas pairing up again for a second season at Williams. After a relatively steady start, and Valtteri missing the opening race in Australia with a back injury, the team picked up the pace and secured its first podium in Canada with Valtteri clinching third. Three more third place trophies followed: Felipe in Austria and Italy; and another for Valtteri in Mexico. Silverstone, a special track for the team as we secured our first victory there, didn’t disappoint. Felipe and Valtteri jumped from third and fourth on the grid to find themselves in first and second on the opening lap. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on their side, but the team brought the cars home in fourth and fifth respectively. These regular top ten finishes, combined with four podiums, meant the team successfully defended third place in the Constructors’ Championship.
