Overview
F1 returns from the summer break by heading to the beach. Yes, that's right! Round 14 of the 2023 season takes us to Zandvoort for the Dutch Grand Prix.
Although most drivers only got a taste of Zandvoort in F1 machinery for the first time in 2021, the 4.259km circuit is no stranger to the sport, having hosted the Dutch and European Grands Prix between 1950 and 1985 before its recent return.
The circuit is often described as a rollercoaster as it flows through the dunes of the beachside Zandvoort town – an analogy that's become more apt since 2020's redevelopment that saw the final corner increase its banking to a whopping 18 degrees.

Alex, well done! You drove admirably today. We didn't get it all right, as you said on decisions, that's on our shoulders as well. But you caught back up and in a dry race you'd have finished sixth on merit. Either way, well done. Difficult conditions across the weekend and you brought home some really good points.

Yes! Well done everyone. Oooft, that was a tough race! I think I could have done a bit better on that second call to pit there, but we've got really strong pace. We should be very proud of that. We were P6 on pure pace, that was amazing. In a way, a bit disappointed but well done everyone.
