Welcome to the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, commonly known as Interlagos, located in São Paulo, Brazil, for the São Paulo Grand Prix.
This historic circuit is as well-known for its undulating layout and technical corners as much as it is for the unpredictable weather that has played a part in so many races here.
With many Brazilian fans having raced in Williams Racing overalls, we can assure you that the local fans here create an electrifying atmosphere, no matter whether there's sunshine or a monsoon.
Circuit Overview:
The Interlagos circuit measures 4.309 km (2.677 miles) with 15 turns, beginning with the Senna ‘S’, a complex of fast downhill corners requiring precision and bravery that leads into the DRS run down to Turn 4.
Whichever car exits the fourth corner ahead will be in a prime position to retain that place for Sector 2's high-speed turns and elevation changes that test the car's balance and mechanical grip.
The final sector, however, is all about power, and finding traction out of Turn 12 gives a sizeable advantage for the full-throttle uphill run to the start-finish line to do it all over again.
