Welcome to the Yas Marina Circuit, located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, the host of Formula 1's final event of the year, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
With state-of-the-art facilities and unique features like driving under the Yas Hotel that spans part of the track and a pit lane tunnel, Yas Marina quite literally sets the sun on the F1 season.
A recent reprofiling of the circuit has sped up a lap of the track and has improved wheel-to-wheel action to make Abu Dhabi end the year in style.
Circuit Overview:
The modern-day Yas Marina Circuit measures 5.281 km (3.281 miles) with 16 turns, beginning with a short run around Sector 1's four corners that lead into Sector 2's tight hairpin.
Two helpins of DRS zones blast the cars down two straights, with a tight chicane at the end of the first, and a sweeping left-hand hairpin ending the second.
The final sector brings the challenge to a close with twists around the eponymous marina and under the illuminated exoskeleton of the Yas Hotel to complete a fast-paced lap of Abu Dhabi's circuit.
