Design Process Coordinator
Williams Advanced Engineering are currently recruiting for a Design Process Coordinator to join our team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Design Process Team Leader, this is a key role where the successful individual will be responsible for setting up and the management of project and design process taking a range of designs from initial concepts through to volume production. This will involve working closely with the Design, Procurement and Production Teams to deliver engineered solutions within process, weight, cost and timing targets.
Duties will be wide ranged and varied and will include working as a Design Process Coordinator the successful candidate will assist in the delivery of a wide range of process, mechanical, composite and electrical design projects for a broad customer base.
The coordinator will be responsible for the generation and implementation of project BOM’s in CAD Siemens NX, CATIA V5 and TeamCentre. they will assist in the setting up and management of design office procedures, controls and guidelines. You will be able to problem solve, identifiy process challenges, and provision of efficient, creative solutions.
The role will include supporting engineering release meetings between the project management, procurement and design teams, generating and presenting process material to key internal and external stakeholders as well as customers.
You will be a strong team player and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, as well as have a flexible attitude towards working hours, a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to solve problems.
