Electrical Harness Technician
Williams Advanced Engineering are currently recruiting for an Electrical Harness Technician to join our team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Principal Engineer - Systems Integration, this is a key role where the successful individual will support our build team with assembly and maintenance of prototype and low volume electrical assembly and systems. This will include ensuring that all assemblies are built to a build procedure and that build checklists (where applicable) are completed and are visible for inspection.
Duties will wide be ranging and include HeV wire assembly, CAN network checks and vehicle software download using CANalyzer and vehicle diagnostic.
The successful candidate will be experienced in harness assembly including autosport loom, you will have a BTEC or NVQ level 3 in an electrical/electronic engineering discipline or extensive demonstrable experience.
Having experience of working within an automotive industry as well as working knowledge of military/motorsport connectors and harness would be advantageous.
The Ideal candidate will proactively support others to ensure tasks are completed, assist car build operations if necessary and be able to travel to tests and events if this is required.
