Industrial Placement - Process Engineer
Williams Advanced Engineering are currently recruiting for a 12 month industrial placement within our Manufacturing Process Team.
This role provides management and maintenance of the Bill of Process (BOP) for key build projects. Using engineering and assembly principles the successful individual will define the most effective processes for product assembly to ensure delivery to production.
The successful candidate will develop and manage the creation of standardised assembly processes using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques and methodologies to drive continuous improvement. They will liaise with the Health and Safety team to complete ergonomic studies, risk assessments and ensure conformity to business standards.
In this role the successful candidate will also assist and work with the logistics team to confirm strategy for part location and manufacturing engineering to ensure necessary equipment is in place for build.
The ideal candidate will be working towards a Degree in Engineering or Business related discipline (or equivalent), will have strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, be able to work at pace in a multi-project environment and work well under pressure.
