We are looking to recruit a Mechanical Inspector to join our Inspection team. The role consists of measuring and checking parts for conformance to specification or performing other metrology and analysis tasks. You will be using metrology tools and methods; visual inspection; programming and operating co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM), using the operational software PC-DMIS; operating portable measuring arms using Polyworks; and in conjunction with the Team Leader, ensure that parts are inspected and processed during the required time periods. You will have excellent communication and the skills to report pertinent information to designers, manufacturers and other inspectors, as required. You will take pride in your work and be able to operate with minimum supervision. Effective organisation is a necessity along with a proactive approach to using procedures that encourage continuous improvement.
