Senior IT Project Manager
We are currently recruiting for a Senior IT Project Manager within our ambitious and focused IT Team. Reporting to the IT Programme Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidate to join Williams.

Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
Ability to work with technical partners
The candidate should be comfortable running IT Infrastructure, IT Operations, Software Development and Business Improvement projects.
Responsibilities of the Senior IT Project Manager include:
Organise and motive the project management section and project leads
Define the scope of IT projects with the IT Management Group
Ensure the IT PM methodology is followed by project leads and stakeholders
Ensure project requests are assessed by the IT Steering Committee prior to project initiation
Manage the IT Programme Tracker producing the IT Programme Report and IT Programme Management KPIs for the Board Report
Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project, whilst identifying resourcing requirements, dependencies and risks & issues
Work with technical partners to determine project progress and assist with management of Williams activities
Hold regular reviews with the IT Section Managers to review project schedules, progress, risks & issues
Ensure projects are appropriately documented
Manage stakeholder project engagement
Provide input into
Ensure that the project deliverable's are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
Conduct Benefits Realisation Reviews once project complete whilst analysing customer satisfaction
Manage and support the IT Project Manager
Attend and support Section Leads in all IT Steering Committees
Participate in the IT Risk Committee
6+ years of project management experience
Experience of delivering large scale upgrade/transformation projects at an enterprise level
Proven ability to motivate and develop people
This role requires a self-motivated individual who is driven by change and can adapt their communication skills to suit all areas of the business.
Excellent stakeholder management skills
