Supporting World Environment Day at Williams

05 Jun 2022 3:39
Last year, Williams Esports driver Martin Štefanko won the World eX Championship, a competition in which each team races on behalf of an Environmental Charity. The winner is then awarded prize money to give to a charity of their choice.
Our chosen Environmental Charity is the Letcombe Brook Project, which promotes the environmental management of the chalk stream that runs through our Grove factory.
In the video above, Williams Racing driver Nicholas Latifi catches up with Martin to learn more about the cause.
We then speak to Mark Bradfield, Project Officer at LBP, who explains how our donation and support is helping to make a difference from maintaining the health of the Brook itself to protecting wildlife.
Building on the progress the global motorsport industry has made on sustainability in recent years, Williams Racing goes further than any other race team or motor racing series in the world, to commit to becoming climate positive by 2030.
Watch the video above to learn more about our work with the Letcombe Brook Project on what is World Environment Day.
