Should I arrive early for the event?
No. The Experience Centre will be opened at the event start time stated on the website. If you arrive before that time you may not be granted access to the site, due to the nature of our operation. Please note that timings are subject to change, so please check the website in the week leading up to your visit.
What is the security process to access the Williams venue?
Prior to your visit, you will be added to our security processing system, Envoy. For this we require your full name, email address, vehicle registration, arrival date and time. Once added to the system you will receive an email notification to complete your registration by accepting the site's terms and conditions.
Do I have to print a ticket for my visit to the Experience Centre?
No. On arrival at the Experience Centre you will be checked off a guest list, however please ensure that a digital version of your receipt of booking is available to show if requested.
What parking arrangements are there at Williams?
Parking on site is available for public events. There is a short distance between the car park and the Experience Centre.
Do you have any Electric Vehicle charging points?
We do not currently offer visitor charging points on our site.
Is the Williams site accessible to all visitors?
Blue-badge parking is available. There are accessible toilets in the Experience Centre and a lift to the upper floor.
Can I bring my child/children to a public event?
Our minimum age for visitors to public events is 13 years. Any visitors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age. All tickets are a flat rate per person for adults and children.
Do you offer a carer ticket for free or at a discounted rate for either Heritage Tours or Race Days?
We can offer a discount on carer tickets. The relevant carer documentation needs to be emailed to our events team prior to you ordering tickets.
We can accept the following:
1.      Entitlement to DLA / PIP, in the form of a letter. Or the allowance book itself.
2.      Attendance / Carer's Allowance letter of award
3.      UK Disabled ID Card
4.      Credibility's Access Card with the carer/companion symbol.
Each assigned one of the above, will entitle you to a discounted carer ticket, when purchased with a full price ticket.
Is photography and videography allowed?
Photography within the Experience Centre is encouraged, however photography of any of the outside areas of the site is not permitted. No videography is allowed on site.
Can I bring my own food to a public event?
At the point of booking please inform us if you have any dietary requirements or we cannot guarantee that these will be catered for. If you would prefer to discuss complex or severe requirements or allergies prior to the event, please get in touch with our events team. Whilst we endeavour to cater for all dietary requirements, we do understand that guests may prefer to bring their own food; please note that all tickets are a flat rate as listed on the website.
Can I access Wi-Fi on site?
Yes. There is guest Wi-Fi in the Experience Centre.
Can we access the Williams shop on our visit?
Yes! Our onsite shop offers a selection of Williams merchandise. There will be opportunities during the day for you to browse and make purchases. Please note that we only accept card payments.
Is there somewhere safe to leave belongings during events?
During events coats can be placed in the Experience Centre cloakroom. There is limited capacity to store larger bags. All belongings are brought onto site at the owner’s risk.
Will I be able to see inside the factory?
Our factory is not open to the public. All public events are held in the Experience Centre only. Please note access to the rest of the site is prohibited.
Can the Experience Centre be privately hired?
The Experience Centre is not available for private or corporate venue hire. To visit the site, tickets must be purchased for one of our public events.
Can I change the date of a ticket I have purchased?
If you would like to swap your tickets for a different date, please contact our events team on events@williamsf1.com. Please note that all ticket swaps are at the discretion of the events team and are not guaranteed as per our cancellation or amendment policy.
Is there a height or weight limit for the Gaming Lounge?
The recommended height for racing is 120cm/47 inches – 220cm/87 inches.
The recommended height is 20kg/44lbs – 120kg/269lbs.
Are there height or weight restrictions for the esports simulators?
The recommended user height for the simulators is 120cm/47 inches – 220cm/87 inches.
The recommended weight is 20kg/44lbs – 120kg/269lbs.
