Everything you need to know about the Magic City ahead of the 2024 Grand Prix

Williams Racing is back in Miami for a third time as we prepare to take on the sixth round of the 2024 Formula 1 season.
Anticipation for this race is reaching an all-time high as the 305 prepares itself to welcome fans.
From beautiful beaches to a vibrant art scene and an array of culinary delights, Miami has something for everyone to enjoy.
So, ahead of the Grand Prix, we have put together a list of our highlights for a trip to one of the most exciting cities on the Formula 1 calendar.

Must-see attractions

Check out the eye-catching Art Deco district, a historic destination where travellers come from far and wide to see the architectural styles of the 1920s and 1930s.
Those looking for some cool snaps should make their way to the Wynwood Walls, which is an outdoor urban graffiti museum lined with impressive works of art.
For a relaxing scene, look no further than Miami Beach itself, where you can take a stroll along the coast, sunbathe or dip your toes in the sea.

Grub’s up!

Miami's food scene reflects the city’s diverse population, bringing flavours from Latin America and the Caribbean as well as mainstream American foods.
Travellers should look to try stone crab, a regional delicacy that is still in season. Those craving Cuban cuisine can take a walk through the vibrant neighbourhood of Little Havana. Here, the streets are lined with restaurants offering all the best food.

See the sporting greats

Outside of the track, the 305 has several star franchises. No matter the time of year, there are opportunities to catch sporting greatness.
In addition to the Miami GP, the Hard Rock Stadium hosts the Miami Dolphins American football team for fans who want to see even more fast-paced action. Their field will host the F1 paddock for the week.

Watch some first-class basketball with the Miami Heat at the Kaseya Centre, or if you fancy America's greatest pastime, the Marlins baseball side star at LoanDepot Park.
Fans can also catch football greatness by visiting the Chase Stadium, where Lionel Messi takes to the pitch with Inter Miami.
And if you’re in town for race week make sure to visit the Williams Racing Fan Zone, presented by Kraken, with lots of entertainment in the build-up to the Miami GP.

Explore nature

On top of the incredible infrastructure Miami has to offer the natural environment which surrounds this city is remarkable.
Everglades National Park is right on the doorstep, where you can ride in airboats over the wetlands, seeing plenty of wildlife such as alligators, panthers and pythons.
Biscayne National Park is another spot where adventurers can pay a visit for boating, diving, snorkelling, and spotting some of the impressive sea life.

Shop til you drop

From malls to luxury fashion houses, Miami has it all for those looking to shop.
Bayside Marketplace is an open-air festival marketplace with lots of outlets to choose from and enjoy a cool refreshment on the waterside to split up your day.

There are numerous of transport options in Miami to take advantage of, including a well-connected bus service, Metromover servicing 21 stations, taxis, ride-sharing apps or even a Miami trolley. All can help you explore every part of the city.
