A very busy day with very important consequences for our Canadian fortunes are next up for Carlos and Alex.
We have Sprint in 30 minutes, where Carlos will be looking to take points from a P10 start. Alex’s misfortune yesterday sees him further back, and raring to go in making up for lost time.
And the lessons we learn will help us for qualifying later this afternoon, when we set the grid for tomorrow’s race. Stay tuned.

Team Update
Following the incident in FP1 involving wildlife on track, Alex will not run in this afternoon’s Sprint qualifying session.
Despite the best efforts of the team to repair the car, the damage sustained was far more extensive than originally thought, requiring the gearbox and PU to be replaced. It’s unlucky for Alex, but we’ll look to take all the learnings from Carlos’ side of the garage to be as prepared as possible for tomorrow’s sessions.
