Welcome to the Circuit Zandvoort, located in the coastal town of Zandvoort, just west of Amsterdam, Netherlands, and host to the Dutch Grand Prix.
This historic track underwent significant upgrades before returning to the Formula 1 calendar in 2021 and blends traditional racing heritage with modern motorsport innovation.
Known for its banked corners and narrow track width, Zandvoort is a rollercoaster of a track that makes high-speed cornering the key to a fast lap.
Circuit Overview:
The Circuit Zandvoort is a 4.259 km (2.646 miles), 14-turn ribbon of asphalt that begins with two hairpins at Turn 1, Tarzanbocht, and the banked Turn 3, Hugenholtzbocht, that test car and driver like nowhere else in the season.
Sector 2's sweeping corners are high-speed and see the track widen for differing lines depending on driving style and car setup.
Turn 11 and 12 make up a slow-speed chicane for drivers to tackle before setting off into the final metres, including Turn 14's banking that even sees the rear wing DRS flap open midway through the corner.
