The 2025 Formula 1 season heads to Budapest for Round 14 and the final race before the summer break. After a packed calendar, Atlassian Williams Racing's duo are determined to close out the first half of the campaign with strong showing at the Hungaroring.
Alex Albon is ready to take on one of the most technical tracks on the calendar.
"I'm looking forward to wrapping up this first half of the season in Budapest," he shared. "It's a challenging track with twisting corners and a flowing second sector, which feels amazing when you put everything together.
"It will be interesting to see how the upgrade performs in different conditions at a tighter track, and we'll aim to take advantage of the three Free Practice sessions to learn as much as we can.
"The team has made a lot of progress so far this season and it's exciting to see the work starting to pay off. Let's head into the summer break with some more points in the bag!"
Carlos Sainz is also focused on extracting the most from the upgraded FW47 and heading into the break on a positive note.
"As we head to Budapest for the next round in the double-header and also final the round before the summer break," he commented. "I’m looking forward to getting behind the wheel and testing out our new package in a normal weekend format, with the Free Practice sessions to build up throughout.
"It’s always a fun circuit to drive and the weekend is looking mostly dry, so hopefully we can come back stronger for the final round. The team has been working really hard all year, so it will be nice to end on a high before everyone has some well deserved time off."
