After an extended break since the opening round of the season in Australia, Alessandro Giusti returns to Formula 3 action this weekend on the support billing at one of the most iconic events in motorsport.
The Atlassian Williams F1 Team Driver Academy member heads to Monaco in search of his first points of the year as his F3 campaign resumes following a lengthy gap between rounds.
Monaco is widely regarded as one of the toughest tests on the calendar, and no more so is this true in Formula 3 where the 30-car field ensures action wherever you look.
Fortunately for Sandro, this is not unfamiliar territory. The Frenchman made his debut around these streets last season and immediately impressed, securing P4 in the Sprint Race before adding a points finish with P10 in the Feature Race.
The unique nature of the Monaco weekend extends beyond the circuit itself. Formula 3 track action begins on Thursday with practice before qualifying takes place on Friday.
To reduce traffic around the tight confines of the circuit, the field will once again be split into two qualifying groups. Sandro has been drawn in Group B, with his side of the draw going second.
The Sprint Race follows on Saturday before the Feature Race rounds out the weekend on Sunday.
After several weeks away from competitive action, Sandro will be aiming to make the most of his previous Monaco experience and restart his F3 season with another strong performance around one of the sport's most famous venues.
