At the tight and twisty Hungaroring, where strategy is king and overtakes are rare, Pit Wall Predictions players needed precision to rack up serious points.
So, how did you get on in Round 14? And did you outscore our Grove-based guru: The Strategist? Only six players hit perfection in Hungary, proving just how tricky this one was to call.
Let’s break down the results…
Q1: On which lap will we make our first stop?
Lap 11–20. We boxed Alex on Lap 14, putting this question into the most popular bracket and delivering points to 73% of you. A smooth start.
Q2: Which driver will pit first?
Alex Albon. Alex was our first caller to the pit lane – with just over half of players (52%) predicting it right.
Q3: When the first Williams driver pits, what position will they pit from?
P16–P20. Alex made his stop from P16 – but only 5% of players saw this one coming. A tough miss for most.
Q4: What will the gap be to the car ahead when we make our first stop?
0.1–2.5 secs. Alex was just 0.7s behind Esteban Ocon when entering the pit lane, giving 78% of players – and The Strategist – another five points on the board.
Q5: When will our fastest lap of the race be recorded?
Between Lap 38–56. Carlos delivered our best lap on Lap 54, putting this question firmly in the mid-race zone. 43% of players were on the money here.
Q6: How many Virtual Safety Car periods will there be?
Zero. No VSCs in Hungary again – a stat 35% of the community (and our guru) correctly anticipated.
Q7: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?
Zero. No full Safety Car interruptions, continuing the Hungaroring’s recent trend. 52% of players called it right, including The Strategist.
Q8: Where will the leading Williams driver finish the race?
P11–P15. Carlos came home in P14, with Alex just behind in P15 – and 16% of players earned points here, including our Grove-based guru.
The Strategist’s Score: 5/8 – 25 Points
A solid recovery in Budapest for The Strategist, securing one of their strongest results this season. Still some ground to make up, but momentum is building as we head into the summer break.
Six players earned the prestigious Pit Wall Perfection badge this weekend for scoring a full 40 points – while the most common score was 3/8 (15 points).
