Alex and Carlos set for final push before summer break
Alex celebrates 100 Atlassian Williams F1 Team starts as we look to end opening half on a high

The first half of the 2026 Formula 1 season concludes this weekend as Williams F1 Team heads to the Hungarian Grand Prix for Round 11 of the championship.
As the team looks to end the opening half of the campaign with a strong result before the summer shutdown, the weekend also marks a major milestone for Alex Albon, who will make his 100th Formula 1 start for Williams.
Our No. 23 is proud to reach the landmark and is focused on celebrating it with another strong performance.
"Hitting 100 races with this team means a lot to me. It's been quite a journey since I first joined, and it is always nice to think back on some memories over the years and I'm proud of how far we've all come together. There's still so much more I want to achieve with Williams and in F1, and this weekend is just about doing the best job possible as usual and pushing for the best result we can get. Carlos Sainz is hoping to build on the positives from Spa while helping the team finish the first part of the season on a high.
"We're coming into Budapest after a tough string of races, but we made some good learnings in Spa and ended the race with better pace, so we'll look to carry that into this week. It's a different challenge here in Hungary, with difficult overtaking and tyre management being critical, so we'll need to get up to speed quickly ready for qualifying. It's a special one for the team too, with Alex reaching his 100th race start with Williams, so congrats to him! This is the last race before summer break, so we want to finish this half of the season on a good note before everyone takes a well-earned rest and comes back ready to dig in for the second half."
