The final standalone race of the 2025 Formula 1 season takes us to Brazil, as the paddock heads to the legendary Interlagos circuit for the São Paulo Grand Prix. With the Sprint format returning, Atlassian Williams Racing is preparing for a high-intensity weekend with limited track time and plenty of opportunity.
Alex Albon is focused on applying the team’s recent learnings as the season enters its closing stages.
"In the gap between races we've been busy debriefing everything as a team in order to get on top of some of the issues we’ve experienced in recent weekends.
"This will be especially important in Brazil as it’s a Sprint with only one practice session. With limited track time, we’ll go back to a more familiar setup approach and run less experiments than we have been doing.
"Interlagos is a great track, I always enjoy the old-school elements and driving here in front of the passionate fans. We’ll need to be agile and prepared for the unpredictable Brazilian weather across the weekend.
"There are just four races remaining, and I'm looking forward to finishing strong and hopefully adding to our points tally!"

Carlos Sainz is also relishing the challenge of the Sprint weekend and the atmosphere that Brazil always brings.
"Heading to Brazil for what will be another Sprint weekend, I’m looking forward to driving around this iconic track where anything can happen.
"Being a Sprint, we’ll be limited on practice sessions, so we’ll look to get up to speed early on car setup. Sao Paulo weather always plays a part across the weekend, so we’ll look to capitalise on any opportunities we can.
"The Brazilian fans are so passionate about F1, so it’s always a great week with a lot of support!"
